Inspiration: "boy talk"
The thought of not having a father, prompted me to write “boy talk.” I
searched for a father in men as I got older. The fact that my father was not
in place like he should have been affected my life then and it still does.
People often say, “That should not still bother you…You are an adult!” How
can a person say that, every situation affects people differently? I also
looked at males that did not have a father in place and how it affected
them. This thing called life is very serious and every seed planted plays a
part. Like my mother used to say, ”Garbage in, garbage out!” I take a look
at people who I have met along the way and their experiences, along with my
own and it sparked in me the desire to write. Come, let’s read, “boy talk.”
